You have to provide this content yourself by installing Morrowind and then configuring OpenMW to use the existing installation.

It does not come with any “content” – namely the art, game data, and other copyrighted material that you need to play the game as designed by Bethesda Softworks. Imagine having to make changes to over 100 servers with a startup script. OpenMW is a reimplementation of the technical aspects of the game only. Also, the guy in the video claims that we cannot make esm files, but thats BS. The middleware its based off the exact same, however.

You must legally own and install Morrowind before you can use OpenMW as it is intended – to play Morrowind. Bethesda changed huge chunks of the engine, more than enough to call it a new engine, but yes, its still based off the same middleware, Gamebryo.
